i baked my parking lamps and they came right apart w/ a screwdriver, but I then found out that i couldnt take the amber reflectors out, lol. but after that i just put a hefty amount of silicone on the edges and let em seal back up. it takes a lota patience tho

I've heard of people not baking them to split them but baking them for the resealing. May be wrong. I'll find out for ya...I've got an extra headlight that I'm gonna TTY and remove the amber from this week.

looking at the lense..seems like that edge is just a 194 marker...and bottom portion is turn signal

thought about tinting that section, or even colormatching? My buddy did it to his 04 gmc headlights, looked really good.

You have to be careful, in some states you are required to have reflectors on your vehicle and if you remove them you may make your vehicle where it will not pass inspection and you may be cited for operating an unsafe vehicle on a public road. Texas Highway Patrol can be real strict about that sometimes. I'm not sure about all states but here you are required to have the reflectorized materials viewable from the side, front and rear of the vehicle.
