    OBS to NBS Seat Swap

So, I was at the junkyard today picking up a new Heater/AC controller for my 97 and saw some Charcoal buckets and center console out of an 03 Silvy. I'm guessing by now you can already tell where this is going. My question is as follows: If I get the seats (either buckets and a console, or a 40/20/40 style), what goes in to getting these mounted? If I get the stock brackets and everything, will they bolt right in, or do I need to drill new holes? Any help would be great, thanks guys!

I doubt they would bolt right in but some new brackets could be fabricated using your old seat brackets and parts of the new ones. Or if you are really good you could use some square tubing and make your own. You just gotta look it all over and see where to go.

i don't mean to thread jack here, but along the same lines, would an nbs 40/20/40 bench seat bolt up to an nbs that originally had buckets with a console?

I've been wondering this over the years. I know it's possible of course. Seen it done over on FSC I believe but it's one of those things that's going to take more than just bolting them up! Just like how putting the nbs rear bumper on my obs was...
