    Removed mirror caps>

I took them off today and now need some help getting all the gunk off the mirrors. Looks like the da that put'em on used liquid nails along with the two sided tape. What could i use?

It's supposed to be 3M double side tape. Use Acrysol.

You need a body shop guy to answer that. Where is he anyway...?

I would find a body shop (gotta have one of those) and ask for about two inches of automotive 3M double-sided tape. I bet they'd give it to you or sell it to ya for a couple of bucks. You won't need more than the tape, but you could put a couple of dabs of silicone.

Moze, he might need that later but I think he's trying to get the old tape residue off. If not,

Thats correct I removed the chrome caps and who ever put them on used 3m tape along with silicone type stuff. Took me forever to get them off.

It was silicone. Tried heating it up with a heat gun and using a plastic scraper but didnt have any luck. Got any ideas?
