5.3 Build for the Truck

  1. Chromoly rings.

  2. Honed cylinder walls, new cam bearings.

  3. New main bearings in, crank in, 6 bolt mains torqued.

  4. 1st piston in.

  5. Cam goes here :)

  6. All 8 pistons in, cam going in.

  7. cam in.

  8. valve springs installed.

  9. LS7 Lifters in, heads torqued.

  10. Push rods and rockers in.

  11. Double chain billet aluminium timing set

  12. more chain :)

  13. Intake on but not bolted down. Shaving all brackets off the top, sanding and painting flat black. have red fuel rails to go with it. MSD red wires to...

  14. Front timing cover clearanced for the chain, installed. Valve cover, rear cover and oil pan installed also.

  15. SDPC Z+221 cam. 221/226 .565/.560 114 LSA.
