I have a 1991 short bed chevy 4.3 5 speed 2w. I would like to install a 5.3 vortec i know it will be a lot of work but it is something i am wanting to do. I know the basics that i need motor harness fuel pump, and computer. But what i dont know is transmission compatibility and exactly how difficult it is going to be. i would like some advice from anyone experienced in this swap. thanks in advance
