    lobe seperation

Working on building 400 smallblock for my 68 Camaro, it will be fuel injected. My question can I run a 106 lobe seperation and still be able to get it tuned are do I have to go with the wider seperation that GM I typically see. I will be using a GM 1220411 computer to control edelbrock multiport system.

Are you doing the 24x efi conversion on it?

As for 106 LSA shouldn't be an issue depending experience of tuner and if have supporting mods

will be running 2001 van definition file with all vortec 350 sensors, and will be doing the tuning myself with TC, I'm no pro but think I can handle it, just have heard that cams with lower than 112 lobe separation were not doable as far as tuning. I would like to try it, just wanted some input from someone that had been there, thanks George.

the lower lobe seperation is tunable. you typically see the lower LSA cams matched with single plane intakes and the 110-112 cams on the EFI intake manifolds.

    old mod list: H/C/I/N/E/G 408
new mod list: 5.3, gears/posi, mufler and tune : (

It is the generation 1 SB 350 not the LS version 5.7, called dealer to make sure crank reluctor ring was the same. Apparently all vortec 350 were the same from 96 thru 02, the difference was the computer they used. I went with the 01 because it uses the best computer in my opinion.

    96-97 16244210 aka black box
    98-00 9366810 also black box
    01-02 12200411

96-00 computers had a internal cutoff 5600-5700 that never was found to my knowledge, plus I have better tuning software for the 01 computer
