    Tuning question

Im thinking of getting a tune but not sure if i should wait because all i have on my truck is an exhaust but still want to add alot more to the engine later on so should i just wait? I was thinking about going with a nelson performance tune seeing as how i only live about 90 miles away from them.

They offer three free retunes a year plus he can take away your emissions components (rear o2's, egr, etc) for down the road of you decide to do headers and cat delete. Also I thought it wa since that they go ahead and program the computer for the electric fan swap so all you have to do is get the harness and fans when your ready. I love Nelson performance I'm sure you'll be happy with them as well!

For what it's worth, I went with Nelson on my green truck, and it's not real heavily modified right now, but they did an awesome job! Love everything about the tune, and would def use them in the future.

Could you feel a difference in the throttle response and in hp/tq?

you can feel the difference especially after a couple hundred miles. and if you do anything like cam or boost then send them 100 bucks and they will send you a tune. its worth having them do it instead of buying the software and trying to do it yourself. look around you wont find better in ways of a tuner

Oh yes, MAJOR difference in throttle response and hp in my experience. Enjoy the new tune.
