Is that first hand experience? I'm not knocking Nelson but I also wouldn't throw out an unsupported opinion. There are plenty of people that are very happy with their BlackBear tunes. I don't see Blackbear tuning anything more than bone stock trucks really... maybe a few cammed trucks here and there. Nothing over the top, which makes me think that there is a reason he doesn't have that kind of clientele.

Wat? Off the top of my head I can think of a bunch of highly modded trucks that they tune.
This one has a heads/cam FBO LQ9 swap.
This one is a FBO 5.3 with a blower cam and a TVS 1900.
Oh, and the OPs truck IS stock.
Moral of the story is, everyone here seems to have a very strong opinion on who the best tuner is, and most will recommend Nelson due to the nature of the site. But, don't knock another tuner when you haven't personally had a tune from them. They are both very well known and well respected companies, OP, you can't go wrong with either one.

I know this was 3 pages ago but Blackbear tunes my nitrous truck and does a great job. If Allen had a similar set up to the autocal option I would have stayed with him. And Justin has lots of clientele.
Oh btw I still sport the Nelson sticker on my back window
No experience with Blackbear here, but yea I have tried Nelson mail tune years back with a magnacharger and it was perfect on the af ratio
I just need a good tune for my daily driver. I don't want to do a re-learn or be without my truck for a week while the pcm is away getting tuned.
