I use HPtuners for most of my work but also have a cheap hand held OBD2 scanner. It gives basic live data capabilities and shows freeze frames.
99' Silverado RCSB Z71: 5.7L Iron LS1, 11.2:1, Custom EPS Cam, Ported 862's,Ported TB, E-Bay Cold Air, E-Bay Long Tubes, Dynomax X-Pipe Exhaust, Electric Fans, Innovative LC-1, Self Built 4L60E, Circle D Pro Single Disc, 4:10 ValueTrac
well i found a little cheaper way then to buy hp tuners and it work on my phone
downloaded these two apps to see which i like more
Torque Pro (OBD2 & Car)
US$4.95
OBD DROIDSCAN PRO
US$2.99

Let us know how well it works. I have seen those apps before but was not sure of the quality or refresh rate of the data list

they both work but i believe i like the Torque app better but they both read the codes and cleared them for me. i didnt have time to do much more then just plug it in for 5 min and clear codes i'll play around with it more when i have free time at home.
for some odd reason they didnt read hardly anything off our 2012 ford 550s but on my 97 1500 it read pretty much everything.
have tried elm 327 it works...
but can't beat hp tuners , hands down
