    Boosted EQ Ratio for E-85

First off, my truck is not Gen3 powered----Yet. I have made several changes to my engine in the last couple of months. I haven't properly tuned it yet and just put it away for the winter. I thought I would take this winter to try and reprogram my brain to understand EQ ratios. I have searched the web and can't seem to find what the EQ ratio is for boosted applications on E-85. I know the stoich Value of E-85 is 9.8 AFR. I have that value in my tune now. Does anyone know or have a chart or link for boosted E-85 EQ ratios?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Instead of me trying to rewrite it, here's something I'm pasting from another forum.

So if you want to figure your AFR for E85 from gas numbers we could figure them like this. Say we want the equivalent of 10.5 AFR for gas to E85. We take the 10.5 and divide it by 14.7 to get Lambda. 10.5/14.7= .714. So to convert to E85 AFR we take Stoich for E85 which is 9.765 and multiply it by the Lambda of .714. So we would get 9.765 * .714= 6.97. So 6.97 AFR on the E85 scale should be the same as 10.5 AFR on the gas scale. So we can convert AFR of any fuel we know the Stoich of just by multiplying the Stoich by the Lambda. I hope maybe that helps. And that is why tunning by Lambda is the best way. It is simply stating how much richer that Stoich you are.

i use the same ratios for gas or e85 but the stoich is changed. i also use a WB02 scaled for gas and shoot for 11.2 at higher boost levels

Thanks guys. I have an Innovate wideband unit and gauge mounted in the truck. I haven't decided if I will program it for EQ or leave it AFR.
