5.3 SSR tune differences from lm7

So I was comparing a stock 04 SSR tune (5.3) to the tune that came in my truck and found that the “volumetric efficiency vs rpm vs map” table was very different and so was the “injector flow rate vs map” table and the “maf sensor air flow vs output frequency” but other then that every thing in the fuel tab and spark tab are the same. Could this by why the SSR has 5 more hp and 1 more tq then the lm7?

I think the SSR has a higher compression 5.3.

Hey thanks for getting back to me Maui4x4, wouldn’t it have a different timing table if it hade a higher CR?

GM is always changing things in their calibration. GM's baseline is just a starting point. The majority of trucks will take the same timing, but there are some trucks that take less or more, just depends on the setup.
