    Trifecta mail tune??

Just wondering if anyone has heard of or used a company called trifecta tunes? Looks like a mail order tune company that will send a hand help programmer to your door with a pre done tune that you install and then send back to them? Anyone done this? heard of them or used them? Its cheaper for me than buying a programmer or Hp/efilive etc right now for my minor mods. Thanks for any help!!

Go Nelson, He will send you a PCM and you send yours back, far more than a handheld can do, and for minor mods. I think he is like $300 + core.

Does Nelson send you a module that you can plug in and download a tune and then ship back?? THats what trifecta is claiming to do? He will ship you a new PCM, and if you have no way to ship your old one back then you just pay a core fee or $55 I think. So you get the tuned pcm and you install it in your truck, its pretty simple, and great results.

He tunes a PCM and sends it to you. You then send him yours, and get your $300 core charge back. Real easy.

I don't think the core is $300 is it?

My bro went with trifecta on his n\a truck. They have dealers all over the US that come do data logging for you while you drive around then send that info back to vince @ trifecta, something nelson doesn't do, and they keep logging and tuning till your happy. I like Allen and can see why you guys go with his tunes, but I'm not too happy with my nelson tune right now, if I boost it the truck won't idle after, and runs rich all around. I can't ever get a hold of them and I leave messages all the time.
