Hey guys
Truck in question is a 04 k1500 with a 4.8. Truck is currently wounded. I'm pulling the 4l60e and shipping it to a buddy to get it gone through and upgraded with the usual shift kit, converter, upgraded sun shell, etc. Also going to probably ditch the govbomb 10 for a floater with a f/r of 4.56. This truck will eventually get a 60 in the front along with many other nefarious things (nv4500 or sm465, and probably a lsx block)..but we are keeping it mild for the moment. I still have a payment on this one, and my 75 k20 is the real moneypit for the moment.
In addition to what I'm doing above, I would like to wake up the 4.8 a little for say, 500 bucks. I have a hypertech (useless). I am guessing my best bet would be get a nelson tune and a mild cam. I am not looking for nawz or cold air intakes. Thoughts? Opinions?
