Question Handheld Tuner vs. PCM got a few questions

Whats wrong with getting a predator with the custom tune loaded besides being a little more $ ? that way no more crank relearn, no wait time, just tell them what you did they email new tune and you load it.... thats the way I tune my 2003 Cobra. Is there any downsides to using a predator on our trucks? I'm seeing people frowning on the subject of these vs a pcm.....why? I was looking at this option because it seems to be the easiest and cheapest in the long run.

shouldnt need a crank relearn and your better off with a actual tune from someone capable of it, then a handheld.

    Nelson is very high recomended
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s
    2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
    2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance
    2014 Xsport- 3.5 Eco boost
    412 Motorsports

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference

From what I hear, Nelson is actually loading custom tunes onto handheld programmers. Should be the best of both worlds.
04 Silverado ext cab. 4.8, K&N, Pacesetter lt's, e cutout, slp loudmouths, Wheatley tune.

exactly. I love how people have been dissing diablos... but dont even know what they are. Or what they can do haha.
I like the idea of having 5 different tunes. One for DD. One for track. Then some for race gas, or meth, or cutout, or what ever you need. Plus you dont have to carry a laptop around, and have it stolen at the track.

thats what im talking about people dissing them I think I might go that way because of the ability of 5 different tunes and quick upload

dont forget they recently came out with a dual flash chip that Frost has been updating ppl's Pcms with. this allows you to have two tunes with flip of switch. I think KBracing has the same chips

A custom tune seams to be able to hit more parameters than any handheld tune...more bang for your buck you could say..But I am not real familiar with how diablo works and what they can actually tweak.

I believe alan can load his tunes on a diablo handled with multiple tunes on it.
    Step 1. crus at it.
    Step 2. get a hammer.
    Step 3. torch it.
