my nelsons tune will be here tomorrow, i have a 2000 silverado 2500 with the 6.0....im not worried about the passlock relearn stuff but how many of you guys have had to do crankshaft position sensor relearns, i dont want to have to take it to the dealer and i havnt heard to much about it.....so is it a common thing to have to do or do you guys just pop them in, do passlock relearn, and go?? thanks

i think only a very select few have had probs with the crankshaft relearn. just do the norm passlock thing and go for it.

I didn't have to do anything to mine but install it. No passlock or anything...

I had to do pass key relearn on the first one. The next on bolted in and I had to do nothing.

The install was much easier than I thought. It took no more than 20 minutes. It took longer for me to get the plastic cover off than it did to install the PCM.

I had to do the crank re-learn on my last Westers tune. Dealer didn't say a thing about it.

Just took it and called me an hour later.
