I was changing the oil on this beast and I notices a sensor/plug with a red seal on the tranny. The sensor is going in the middle of the tranny. It's not the speedo, there's a different plug for that.. Does anyone know what it does??? I unpluged it, and the truck ran the same.. Does it have to do with TM.. Just would like to know, thanks.

OK, I'm stupid. Yes it's the backup lights.. On my other truck the switch is on the shifter not the tranny.. Thanks gmcwantsls1
