Very dumb Question. When buying a tune like a Nelson tune how do you install it? With a laptop or a scanner or does it come with something to install the tune. I have never seen it done. And on my Nova I use a laptop.

Hi,
It's very easy, the way it works is:

you place the order
we send you a pcm that has GM's latest calibration
you simply remove your pcm and install ours
send us the old one back as a core and enjoy the tune and recieve free updates forever

-you'll probably want to disconnect the neg side battery when removing/installing the pcm
-if your pcm sets a ckp relearn code, you can still drive it until you get the procedure performed.

There will be more questions for sure. I am just getting started on my truck and plan on doing lots of stuff to it. Trans change Motor from a 4.8 up to a 5.3 and I am hoping a blower.
