    How much TM removal?

I am finally getting tuned at the end of the month, how much TM does allen usually remove? I was thinking of 80% and I also read to remove all of it at WOT. Does this sound okay for a stock tranny? Oh, and what should I set the shift firmness at for a daily driver?

Get youself some vette servos to throw in your tranny and have him make it as bad as he can!! Either way the 60E is gonna blow, so why not speed up the process! I'm sure others will chime in and help you better than I can. Just giving my .02

Remove all of it and the trans will go first then when you get a beefed up trans or put vette servos in the rear end will explode. Me I'd remove all of it and replace the trans see the 4l80 post on the front page. Then replace the rear end. Then add a huge turbo then when you scatter the motor and need another buy an LSX454 and get another turbo since metal from the scattered engine killed the original. Then buy some brakes you'll need them.

I would take it all out and have some fun with the 4L60E until it is spent. If you do add the servos and shift kit it might make it last a little longer.

Looks like the tune is cost more than I thought... new tranny, rear end, AND an engine!

NOO a tune is worth every penny. My trans lasted a long time supercharged and me abusing the crap out of it.
My rearend blew once I got an FLT level 5 tranny. Get rid of all the torq management and you will be ok for a while but if you build lots of power then parts start breaking. All of this has been with zero trq mgmt and once it is gone you will love your truck even more.
