    I Ve Been Reading All The Good News About Live Tunning On V8's What About Us Little Guys With 4.3l V6's Whats The Power Like For Us?

    Ducky will have to chime in on this one.

    FYI - He finally gave up on the 4.3 and swapped a 5.3.
    Gone, but not forgotten!

    thats my plan swap to a 5.3 but i got the qoute for a 5.3 with every thing $1500 or rebuild my six with hopped up parts the works $1500 but if i do put the 5.3 i need the bell house and bigger fuel pump. so if i do rebuild with a live tune will i hit the v8 power or is it a waste of time and money? need help here

    Waste of time and money IMO to stick with the 4.3. Unless you are just out to prove everybody wrong and throw craploads of money at it.

    i see you would take a 5.3. my case is my 4.3 is on the way out its got blowby the motor is losing power i got money in it but the parts i ve use have done nothing. i thinking 5.3 to

    I would def not waste money on the 4.3 and just do the 5.3. You can do the tune though. I got better MPG and was able to hang with roughly stock 5.3 ext. cabs
