This might be a self explanitory and a stupid question but what is a throttle body bypass and what does it do for performance

adds a mod to your SIG lol it adds like 1 hp

ummm ok... anyways it basically means that the coolant line that connects to one side of the tbody (on the bottom) and passes through the other side, to the engine is by passed. So you put rubber caps on the tbody ends, and run the coolant line from the radiator to the engine skipping the tbody... savy?
It keeps you intake air temps down a bit... cooler air means more power. you will notice it more after the truck has been running a while.

Any one ever had a heck of a time trying to do this mod? Seems like a mod I'd only do if I pulled off my TB or something. Lot of stuff in the way

I have kicked around doing this mod a few times, and always end up not messing with it.. one of these days I might do it, on the other hand I might not ever get around to it.. It is a very easy mod, maybe save it for a rainy day were you dont have anything else on gods sweet green earth to do with your time.

I did it when I was swapping in the 5.3 into the truck just because it was right there
