Does anyone know if changing the battery in my 08 silverado can effect the pcm or anything that would not allow the vehicle to even turnover?
I change the battery to put an optima in and now it won't even turnover.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have bought a bran new bad altima before. My bet is that its a dead one.
99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.
I put the old battery that I know is still good in and it won't even turn over.
That doesn't sound good!....good luck finding the problem
Is the electrical system out, or is it just refusing to crank?
If its out I'd check grounds, the two under the hood and the two on the frame under the drivers side door.
If its just not cranking its time to look at the starter.
