Cool tire options for small 2/3 drop

    hello folks,

i currently have on a stock wheel and feel its time to ditch my 22s for something more sporty..and a little more road worthy....i would like to stay around the 18" range...my issue/question is what would a good size tire be on a 18" wheel that will help "fill" the wheel well up but at the same time not look gawdy....i.e to much tire not enough wheel kind of thing....i am currently lowered 2" in the front and 3" in the rear using shackles..

    thank you for your time

Here's mine. A 2/4 on 275/60/17s which are 30" tall. I think the 30" diameter is perfect, but needs more wheel.

Devin you think my 31.5's will be too tall?

They'll clear, I threw my winter tires on to make sure they'd still fit and they're 31s.

Good cuz I don't really want to go too much smaller in tire height. I like where my rpms are at the speeds I drive. And if I do end up getting the 22's I'm wanting I'll get a 305/40-22 which is 31.6" tall.

i think you may have misunderstood me...i have stockers on now...with the same set up as you...recently decided to do away with my gas robbing 22's...would like to go to and 18" wheel...looking for the optimum tire size for the 18 so that i dont have to much gap and at the same time to big of a tire for the rim..

    thank you

Ive got 285/60-18's on my Titan 18's and they are right at 31.5" tall. Devin said that they will clear fine and look good.

Pm Mangled03Gmc, not on here very much so you'd have better luck on pt.net. But his truck looks awesome on the drop he has with 18" wheels and tires.
