    i ran my silverado at the strip yesterday. bone stock with just 2 flowmaster 40's it ran a 9.66 in 1/8 mile.
    96 Silverado rcsb
    5.7l Vortec
    Exterior: 2 inch drop shackles, Centerline Titan 20" Wheels, clear lights, Debadged.

    -Exterior to come: 2-4 drop, Tinted windows, Cowl hood, Green Calipers
    -Performance mods: Flowmaster True Dual exhaust
    -Performance to come: Tune, CAI, Cam, Spray, Posi, gears, stall, headers.

    Nice run! I'm sure you will keep us updated as the mods keep comming.
    No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106

    Shouldnt that be close to a 14 second 1/4?

    It is April Fool's day. If Vortecs could get C1500s running 14 sec quarters we'd all be putting them in instead of LSx motors.
