    This may have been posted already, but if it is, I can't find it. Anyway, below is a link to RPO codes...pretty helpful for figuring out gearing, tranny info, etc...

    Thanks. So my truck was made in Pontiac, MI. I wonder why it has a Lafayette sticker, then? That was the only contradiction that I found.

    A lot of the codes from my truck are not on that list.

    I went to the dealer and asked the service writer to print up the RPO's. Won't cost you a thing. It lists the RPO and also the explanation of the code. It also shows where it was built, when it was built, where it was delivered to and other info.
