Has anyone seen anything on this truck they are working on? I saw the preview for it on a nascar car show but missed it when I went back to it.

wow, i would love to build a factory, sport truck, the first thing it would get would be 6.0L or LS1 to start off with a good foundation.
Next, for the extreme customers, a radix would be offered.
All trucks would be lowered 2/4 , with sway bars, custom hood, grill, and 20's.
The seats and interior would have custom stitching, the gauges of course would be changed out.
The bed would have a fiberglass cover, windows tinted, and a nice custom exhaust.
hehee, ok, enuff of that, just dreaming.

that truck is pretty neat, i wonder how much mark up there will be for that truck, looks like nothing special, however it really performs.

    thanks for the link,

That's a whole lot of money for a silverado with a radix.... You could do it yourself and save thousands to help you live without the badging...

Just out of simple curiousity why does no one drop and SC a 2500 with an 8.1L? Seems like it would be an indestructible drivetrain (albeit heavy), and you would have a big ol beast of a motor that you could pack full of air and NOS.

Tbyrne has a badass Suburban with a whipple on it, that thing is decked out and looks pretty nice.

This supercharged 2002 8.1 Suburban has run made 407hp and 558 ft-lb torque!

I'm sure it's very fast for a suburban, hell , I bet it's the fastest luxury suburban around lol, but 400ponies from a 8.1 seems kind of low.
However, the torque is up there, just what that sub. needs.

Not sure why nobody does it, seems like a badass engine, all the big boat racing (can't think of the class) use them and win all the time.

Hrm for the price of that truck I can buy an '01 Z06 and run circles around it...and still have $15K left over to buy an old truck ('69 Cheyenne&#33 and stuff an LS1 into...

An 8.1 only comes in the 2500HD. RCLB is the only way. But the setup is great. The Whipple is too small to feed it past 8psi. I was telling Allen I thought of going with a 6.0 in my 2500HD I am ordering in the spring vs the Duramax. You can stick an ATI F1 headunit on there to feed a 422 to 15psi easily!

BUT a Duramax can get up to ~750rhwp/1400rwtq and still get 20+mpg. No way in hell will a 15psi 422 get more than 12MPG.

Now if you could put an F1 on an 8.1... or if better heads were made for the 8.1
