4.3 4speed to 5.3 5speed 4x4

New to the forum and have seen a lot of great info! Need help tho. :/
I have a 01 4.3 with a 4 speed A/T and have a 02 5.3 5speed A/T 4x4 doner.
I know it's possible and not much of hassle to do the engine swap, however would like to get rid of the 4speed a/t and get that 5speed 4x4. Is it too much a hassle to convert to 4x4? Or can the the tranny go in on a 2wd differential? Heard I have to change the drive plate but nor sure. Any help will be appreciated! TIA
