I have a 2000 LM7 in a silverado... (Really rare right? lol)
I've found an 03 LQ9 and i know its a good choice cam for me, what i don't understand is if i need to worry about the following... Is this just the "bore" itself, and the cams are all the same size with different bearings, or are the cams ground differently?
Is there a way i can tell before pulling the cam from this 03 LQ9?

LM7 Specs:
Cam Housing Bore Dia. Bore 1/5 = 2.326, Bore 2/4 = 2.317, Bore 3 = 2.307

LQ9 02-03:
Bore 1/5 = 2.326, Bore 2/4 = 2.317, Bore 3 = 2.307

LQ9 03-07:
Bore 1/5 = 2.346, Bore 2/4 = 2.326, Bore 3 = 2.307

Thanks
James
