    OBS swap eng/trans install question

I'm swapping an lm7 into my '93 k1500. I'm to the point of being ready to drop the motor in and would just like some advice before I tackle it in the next few days. I'm using dirty dingo slider mounts. My question is, should I install the motor and trans together, or the motor first, then the trans, or vice versa. The mounts adjust forward to backward for proper trans alignment to the crossmember so I guess I'm just worried it's going to be a nightmare trying to get it all lined up while it's hanging from the hoist. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

i usually leave the trans in the truck and install the engine that way you aint fighting to line both up just the sliders
