    5.3 from a 03 suburban into an 87 1/2 ton chevy pick up 2wd

here to learn about swapping in an ls into a 87 chevy 1/2 ton. engine is out of a 03 burb, plan to use the original 700r4 trans. looking for pointers, dos, donts etc... perfer to buy a stand alone harness vs doing myself. looking to see if there are any drawings out there to fabricate my own motor mounts ( im a welder) also wanted to get the perfered method on flywheel to the old style trans. not sure if there are products that have been found to be superior from the rest? I'm kind of looking for cheapest but sufficient swap parts. Thanks!

we can build you a stand alone harness for the conversion. you can use the 7oor4 but if you plan keeping the 03 drive by wire the only issue i see is hooking up the tv cable. for more info on the engine harness email info@nelsonperformance.com and we can get that going for you
