    Fuel Vent Line

    89 c1500 Swap to 5.3
What do should I do with the third line in the fuel sending unit? It use to run to the charcoal canister, I’m assuming I just vent it, just run a hose and tie it up? Need a filter on it? I’m not sure and I haven’t seen any comments in other threads.

I have always just left the metal line open ended under the hood, could always run rubber line off and put some kind of vent on it like is on the rear end hose vent tube

If you don't want it exposed and sometimes smell fuel vapors, run it to the air filter or near it.

My tank is the newer one with the built in vent that connects to the fill tube.
