    Do i need a 4x4 or change my 5.7 to a 7.4 to get a lil speed???????

I'm looking for an affordable way of getting performance out of my 5.7 Burban. I'm considering 454 but being everything I've seen other than the Express with a 454 is 4x4. I really didn't want to go 4x4 because its way to much work also I have no mechanic skills
That means I'm at the mercy of a shop. please help!!

Swap in a 6.0L. Lots of performance and you'll double your fuel economy lol

Are you driving a 4x4 or RWD? How complicated is the swap? Another ? do the transmission change between 4x4 and RWD?

I'm not sure how to post photos on here from my phone. My truck is lowered 2wd.
The LS engine swap isn't very difficult. Can be expensive if you don't know how to build you own wiring harness or modify your factory one, but the engine bolts in with aftermarket motor mounts and it will even bolt up to your stock transmission
