    Speed Engineering Headers

Has anyone used the OBS to LS swap long tube headers? Stainless steel and look pretty good, just curious if someone had used these before?

I haven't used them, but I have used the schoenfeld ls swap headers and they are awesome. They look nice after ceramic coating

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but was curious about this same thing. Has anyone used these Speed Engineering headers in an OBS swap. I contacted Speed Engineering thru Ebay about them, and they said that these headers will fit the 88-98 C1500's but due to the cross member being further back the engine has to be move further back to allow the headers to clear the cross member. I currently have another question in to them regarding how far back it needs to move, basically asking if the normal one inch back spacing would be enough for them to clear. I'm just waiting on their response to that. I too was pretty much set on using the Schoenfeld's, but if you can get stainless headers for the price of painted ones... I'm keeping that option open. If I go with Schoenfeld's, it would have to be the ceramic ones and I'm not really looking forward to dropping nearly $600 on headers. lol

In case anyone is interested, here is the response I received from Speed Engineering regarding fitment of their 1960+ C10 headers. Looks like it will be Schoenfeld's for me, at least I know they will fit.

Unfortunately, we have not done the install ourselves in house, it is a recommended fitment based on our customer feedback. We do not have the specifics on the motor mounts being used or the offset to accurately answer your question.
