    Fuel line problems.... suggestions

I have had my 5.3 in my 94 model truck for about 3 years now... today the truck did not want to start but when it did it was running poorly.. I leave it running and open the hood.. instantly I was soaked with gasoline... I shut off the engine and found that my supply line had came off.... when I did the conversion I used the dorman steel connectors, gates fuel injection hose and fuel injection clamps... the inside of the hose is mushy like it's breaking down....... any suggestions what to switch to now?? I have a 98 S10 fuel filter on the frame so each end is quick connects..

would switching over to nylon line be a more secure better move?

I went with braided AN hose with Russel 644120 and 644110 fittings to connect to the fuel rails. They're not a true quick disconnect system, but they're very easy to R&R.
