    New heads

I'm new to the 6.0. New to gm motors entirely but I was wondering what would be a cam Set up for the rectangular port ls3 heads, not looking to go to crazy don't really wanna spend money on a tune. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Man there are so many variables when it comes to choosing a cam. That being said, regardless of which cam you choose I would absolutely pay the extra money to get it tuned right. For anyone else to help give you a cam recommendation you should post what mods you have done to the truck as well as your goals and what you plan to use it for.

The trucks completely stock, except for a k&n cai. I don't plan on racing or hot rodding just looking for a little more power on a budget

Take a look at the Comp XR269HR on a 114LSA

Get some new valve springs, LS6 springs will work and are affordable. Also get some hardened pushrods.

    And get that sucker tuned.

A tune will always wake up a truck.
