N00B 89 obs swap

Hey forum i'm Dan, and i have an 89 OBS single cab/short bed 2 wheel drive c1500 Silverado with a 5 speed, i'm looking to swap an LS into. So just here to use the search function and look over threads before the build happens!

Question- Since i'm static dropped (5'' front/ 7'' rear) i should look into using the f-body oil pan correct?

I would recommend it. I am lowered 4/6 and using the F-Body oil pan. It sits just above the front crossmember and trans crossmember.
