I bought a cheap one from Rock Auto for a 96 Vortec for $20.00. It left me on the side of the interstate and I had only put 1200 miles on it. Ended up buying a higher quality pump with a lifetime warranty form AutoZone.

Higher quality and AutoZone are words that typically don't go together!
Kinda what I was thinking.... based on my autozone experience, I almost trust RockAuto and that ghetto @ss commercial on TV more. LOL
There are a certain few things that I like to go either OEM, or full upgrade, on. Fuel pumps are one of them. Especially in an SUV where dropping the fuel tank isn't a 20 minute task.
I like things with spark plugs...
... oh, and boobs - I like those too.
