    My '68 5.3L/60e project

I got this truck more than a year ago, been sitting since.
Keeping the body as is, has a little rust on it, scratches, but overall it's pretty clean.

Installing a 5.3L Gen4, 60e, NP engine harness using 2010 vette components such as pedal, maf, ecm.
    Has a Vintage Air system.
Gonna add a 4" driveshaft, good shocks, springs.
    Heater/ac/cruise
Keeping it a nice, quite cruiser, with stock exhaust.

That is not what I was expecting to see. That is a pretty good looking truck.

man im so jealous of those southern trucks
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s
    2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
    2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance
    2014 Xsport- 3.5 Eco boost

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference

Just don't sell it after you make it awesome!

Can you give some more information on the wire harness? Why the 2010 components? Are you starting from scratch on the harness, like using any of the 68 components at all?

thx, ya it's pretty decent but I don't wanna spend $5K on a paint job then sale it.

The engine harness: just one of our new 2010 e38 ecm's and tcm. all new components like the ones we sale online. might build the harness on the bench then make it tight and finish it on the truck. Grommet thru the wall and modules mounted inside.
Vette pedal because it's small, or the caddy v6 pedal.
    2010 maf and throttle body.
    38lb or so injectors

Gonna use the pwm fan controller from the vette.
ac, fans, defront will work off the ecm as well.
gotta nice little fuse block i'm mounting inside; it'll supply power to the harness and chassis wiring, luckily there's not much chassis wiring.

Got some more progress this week.

Engine successfully installed where I want it.
Lower and further back; i can't imagine using the stock mounts and how forward and high up it would sit, that's just me.

    Engine almost complete.
    Trans in
Getting the fuel system done today, along with fuel cell.
    Found a trans cooler
Radiator pulled down from the shelf, that's been waiting a while.
