4.3l DBC to 5.3l DBW conversion

How's everyone doing? I just recently finished a swap involving a 2000 GMC Sierra w/4.3l. The motor used to replace the v6 was a 2003 5.3l. Everything has been installed/hooked up including the new DBW assembly(pedal wire module, and pigtail to throttle assembly. She's ready to fire up. Only problem is I'm having all the trouble in the world figuring out how to connect the 03' DBW engine harness to the 00' electrical center and any body harness.

The '03 harness will need power/ign/ground, as you know, you can get that off the v6 fuse block.

The engine can be standalone from the body/harness/chassis.

Are you wanting to integrate into the cab harness/chassis harness?

Thanks for the reply. I'm not too familiar with the wiring part of it other than what plugs in without modification.. The harness plugs from the engine are connected to the plugs under the fuse box already. There's just one plug left over coming from the engine harness that's just long enough to go under the fuse box. My 00' sierra v-6 is bone stock so I was thinking that's why there maybe an unused plug.

    Wiring issue.

Everything is plugged in except one long skinny female connector. Here's what's going on. If I plug the diagnostics in turn key into on position, the dash lights up like normal including message center. If I leave key in on position, and unplug the diagnostics the odometer and message center go dead.
