    5.3/5.7l 72mm turbo truck dyno results

    So here is what I have in the setup:

    607HP and 638lb*ft @ 13lb boost
    Engine:
    -5.3l bored to 5.7l (Thompson Motorsports)
    -799 heads(LS6 head)
    -ARP head bolts
    -Forged Probe Pistons 3.902" flat top
    -TMS Moly rings
    -4340 Forged scat I-beam connecting rod w/ ARP 8740 rod bolts
    -King racing bearings
    -Melling high pressure relief oil pump
    -Wiseco .060" head gaskets
    -7.400" Comp Cams Chromoly Push Rods
    -LS7 lifters
    -.660" Trick Flow dual valve springs
    -Titanium retainers & locks
    -TU1 Custom Grind cam(spec speed.inc)
    -5.3l(LM7) rockers
    -"Muscle Car" oil pan
    -All other parts are stk 5.3l(LM7)

    Turbo:
    -72mm .96ar journal bearing Magnum Turbo
    -CX racing intercooler kit

    Fueling:
    -Aeromotive 340 stealth in-tank
    -Aeromotive a1000 fuel pressure regulator
    -Professional products fuel rails
    -60lb/hr motron injectors
    -dual nozzel water/meth injection (devils-own) DO3 + DO7

    Thanks man. Hard to say, I sent the block back to Thompson and they didnt have a clue what could cause that much damage. I had my engine guy also have a look and he couldn't give me a definitive answer either. So I'm assuming a bad casting??

    Nice Set up and great numbers, My set up dam close to yours made 600/656 on 13lbs, glad to see another 5.3 getting er done with the cx turbo

    The CX turbo is essentially a copy of the magnum?

    that im not sure? seems alot like it tho? i doubt ill switch to something else price is great and spools hella fast

    Went 12.34s @ 120.10mph

    I didn't build a lot of boost at launch. I kept rolling on the brakes. With line lock I could prolly drop to mid 11's
