    starter cranks with key off

    My 4.8 keeps cranking with the key off but I can disconnect the battery then connect it back and it doesn't do it again until I hit the key. Wtf is up with it? Solenoid? Relay?

    The only way to know for sure is to check for 12 volts at starter solenoid terminal after you have let off the key. If its there the problem is in the truck. If it is not then it is the starter solenoid.
