    4l60e problems

    Hey guys. I was on my way to a festival about 2 hours south from home yesterday and when went to pull off the interstate ramp onto a country road I got to about 2k RPM and my tranny screamed, or whined, and my RPMs shot up. I managed to lug it into town doing about 45 and got to a gas station where I got a tow truck but now it has no 2nd, 3rd, or Reverse. What exactly happened and how F$^ed am I?

    Depending on what your plans are, if you are going to make decent power just bite the bullet and swap in a 4l80e. I did my swap for under $500 with a Transgo shift kit. The wiring is easy and hptuners can do a segment swap easily.
