    torsion bar cranking questions

    how much height do i need to crank from stock- need to clear 33x12.50 with a -24mm, 18x10"wheel?

    Almost all the way, just get a set of keys and solve all the rubbing issues

    Yeah and everything wont be in a bind from cranking the hell out of the torsion bars.

    Lol torsion keys do the same thing as crankin the bolt all the way. Except now u can crank it even more.


    4.8, TSP 220, 6L90 swap, 3400 Stall, 4.10s w/30" drag radial and T76 @ 16lbs.

    Seems that way, looks that way but you can definitely tell by the ride, its smoother with the keys done. Maybe its just me but i can tell, and everybody that ride with me can tell.

    thanks for the assistance. the dealership in town says they can throw on a ready lift 2" front and back, with shock extensions. hopefully it wont deteriorate my ride as bad as everyone says. ( perhaps some nicer shocks)

    is this for the 3/4 ton GMT900 truck in your avatar? if that is the case you really shouldnt need much to clear a 33 but with a horrible offset youre going to need to trim
