Smile Took the boosted 5.3 out

Since I had the problems with the other motor. Got it Pulled it and sent it off. Went and found a 285k mile 5.3 in a buddies field that had been setting for 3-4 years. Decided hell might as well boost it. So dropped it in bone stock.....stock bolts, cam, springs, ect. I didn't really expect it to start... Or last. But been diving on it a few weeks and decided to take it to the track. Only got two runs in. Got kicked off for no helmet lol this is in a 2000 rcsb, FLT 80e, circle d stall, 3.42s, twin 76mm on 13 psi. No meth. No race gas. Not a record or anything. But food for thought on a bone stock motor.

Thanks guys! Matt she was a roll racing champ lol. Not gonna scatter it just yet. Still waiting on the other motor to be taken care of. Soon as its done we will see how much a stock 5.3 will handle and how fast it'll go. It's trying to float the stock valve springs so might invest in a cheap set of single beehive style like ls6 or ls9s
