Longest I have ever grown mine is 5 or 6 weeks. This is about 2 weeks since my last shave. Honestly it almost never gets much longer than where it is at now. It just seems to stop growing. I am a damn baby face and almost never shave. I am planning on growing it out after the summer. Hoping October to April will yield a real beard for once.

It seems like everyone you talk to in East TN claims to have Cherokee Indian background. I've been told my family on my dads side has some, but it's still not much. It shouldn't be enough to keep me from growing facial hair, but some kind of genetic trait is there, because other than stubbles, I can't seem to grow a beard. What little bit I do grow is patchy. My dad is the same way. I was almost 20 before I really had to start shaving on a daily basis. I can still go a day without shaving before it's very noticeable. I'm 35 now, BTW

same for me. i grow crop circles. weird spots on my face never need to be shaved. i tell people it's the apache in me. i grow apache here and apache there. i can never grow even.
