Newb with big dreams and little pocket book!!

New to the boards and green in ls swap world.... Suspension specialist! Starting a 72 k5 blazer for an off-road toy... Rough plans include lq4 short block with cnc ported ls3 heads/intake along with whipple s/c 60# injectors. Built 4l80 trans, triple disc converter, and atlas transfer case. Dana 60 front/rear diff and 4 link with fox coilover and triple bypass shocks all around. Any thoughts? Critics? Thick skinned here and open to ideas!

Welcome! Sounds like a great build although I know whipple SC is very prone to heat soak. Have you thought about going with a pro charger? Or even better going with a front mount turbo a budget turbo should be cheaper.

Hadn't thought too much on charger/turbo options as I have a whipple 2.9 on my ls3 in my buggy and it kicks a$$!!! Pro-charger better than whipple? For sand I like response of charger over turbo.
