I just bought an 01 rcsb 5.3 silvy. The speedo needle is not smooth as I speed up. I read where the stepper motors can cause this but I don't know where to get one or where to get it fixed. Any help would be appreciated.

eBay. Replace them all at the same time.
I have never been able to find stepper motors for the 99-02 gauge cluster.
Ah you may be right I've fixed only the '03 up. It should be cheap to pick up a used cluster and nab one off of there or use the whole thing.
