    '89 C1500 Turbo LQ4 goes 10.6@126

Well guys, I'm more than happy with my first time out in the new setup!!! I love this current setup, only thing I want to change yet is my 3" down pipe, gonna go either 3.5" or 4", it's gotta be holding me back since my turbine exducer is 77.4mm. First pass was street setup with 4" air filter and going through full exhaust out to the bumper on 7-8 psi, I didn't 2step it very hard because it was my first pass and I didn't know how my 2 yr old 30x9 slicks would hook. DA was about 2300ft temps were around 55-60 degrees.

My setup for those who dont know is:

-03 LQ4 with 203k stock long block (bolts and all! just 216/220 .525 lift cam & LS9 springs)
-CX Racing GT45 76mm home made turbo kit
    -4L80e w/TransGo shift kit
    -PTC custom spec'd 3000 10" converter
    -3.42 rear with Detoit Tru-Trac
    -4130 pounds with driver

Then I took the filter off and opened my cut-out and turned it upto 12 psi and did this:

It actually over boosted in third tho, to 15psi, but thats ok I had the tune setup to pull the timing to 10 degrees and go pig rich after 14 psi because I'm still on stock head bolts and gaskets LOL First gear never went over 11 psi and second was 12-13 psi. I gotta find a way to fix my boost creep!!! I was running high 10 AFR and 17 degrees to 13 PSI.

Thanks goes out to my bro Jake (Jake99, who BTW also ran a 10.79@125.9 that night :headbang: http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...-night-515543/ ) for helping me with all the work of putting this thing together(I started this thing as a roller!!), Kyle @ KB Racing for helping me with getting some parts and some advice, and ESPECIALLY Dusty @ PTC for a kick ass torque converter!!!

badass man!! Ive been needing to hit the track and see how my cx racing 80mm gt45 does. It feels damn strong on 14 psi so Im hoping for similar times to yours but with a little more mph. That 60' was pretty good. Congrats!

Thanks dude! Yeah I was hoping to be closer to 130 but literally when it hit 3rd and overboosted it felt like less power than when it was on 8 psi lol, I think if it had held 13 psi in 3rd i could have hit 128-129
