6.0 needs a cam advise looked and searched

Ok guys posting for a firend. He wants to keep gas mileage cause gas is $5.05 -5.35 a gallon.

The truck is a 2006 escalade on 26" wheels it has
    Volant intake
    Pacesetter long tubes
    3" exhaust
    Hp tunner

He wants to do a cam and possibly a small stall if it won't chew gas.

Any advise would be awesome .

drop the rims, get at the minimum a 2600 stall, and cam i would keep it under a .580 lift but this is just my 2 cents

some were between .550-.580, texas speed sells great cam kits, pat g, best best is to call them and tell them your looking to gain some hp and mpg, then again it's all kinda in the TUNE.

Where in Ontario are you guys from? If you have to get e-tested keep in under 224 on the duration. I'd tell you to look into the Truck Torque series from EPS, but he takes a solid 3 months to get a cam up here. I've ordered two, one custom, one off the shelf, and they take FOREVER. Quite pleased with the performance though.

Hey frenchy forgot to mention that also it has to pass emissions test. I'm south of you Kingston and Trenton. Kind of looking for a cam to pick up soon he leaves with the army for two months so I'm putting parts on it while he is gone. Would do gears but its awd pita lol

Try calling Geoff at EPS. Reason he takes so long (his words not mine) is that he waits until he has about 15 cam orders before he actually gets them in. So if you're number 15 you might not wait too long. Otherwise, keep the duration around 220 with as much lift as you can get. LQ9's will eat a lot of cam before they really lose any low end.

Dude can afford retarded 26" rims and tires but can't afford the number one essential thing required to use the vehicle? Talk about priorities.

Gas mileage and 26 inch rims dont go together. Its one or the other. If you cant do gears dont waste time or money on anything else.
