That's Canadian military attitude personified. We have warehouses full of C8's (Canadian M4) and no ammunition

The truck came with 26"s he just wants more power and I'm talking him into the mods. Yes the C8 is just a AR15 5.56 . We don't fire bullets we just squeeze the trigger and say budget cuts haha

sell the wheels, buy a cam, and spend the rest on gas.

guys stop posting sell this and that. Customer wants to keep his wheels no if or butts. He wants more power and I'm trying to set him up with some parts. We found a set of 243 heads also. I know will raise the comp but if we get set we can run 94 it's only slightly more exapensive. This truck is his baby when he is not over seas. Been over seas 6 times so I try to do it so when he comes home it's a way for him to relax and not think about the bs over there.

Think about how heavy those rims are. Do a simple test. Swap wheels with him and see how much MPG and HP he feels using the butt dyno. I guarantee that he will keep those heavy as hell 26" rims off the truck

Woah chill out buddy. We get he likes the wheels. He wouldn't have them if he didn't like them. Just remind him that he is losing 15%+ on mpg and power trying to push them around. If 100% they have to stay then you will need to do some major work to make up for it.
    1) gears will be the best bang for your buck to get it moving out. The front diff isn't so bad to change out.
    2) improve power however you can with out shift the powerband up the rpm range. Upping compression is a great start. Milled heads or flat top pistons will help while being inexpensive.
    3) a baby cam such as a 212/218 or something along those lines. Nothing over 220 duration unless you want to run a stall.
    4) a stall will help get the truck moving in a hurry.
    5) the obvious one will alway be forced induction turbo, or supercharger.

Gears would be his best option to start.
