Best Heads for the money on a lm7 5.3, EVERYONE put your imput in!

Ive read and read and read and just cant seem to find what the best head for a lm7 5.3 for the money. Right now i have a set of 706 heads on my 5.3 that came stock on it. Now would it be better just doing a port and polish and ls6 valve springs ? or get a set of 243/799 and milling them down to keep the right compression ratio.

I want to learn so tell me the truth ! Be Truthfull!

Give Richard a call at wcch.
He offers a set of heads for the 5.3 that work great.

Anything from PRC (Texas Speed) is a good option as well. Patriots are on the low end. I have Patriots on mine, with a baby cam and their Stage 2 59cc 243's it puts just under 350 to the rear wheels. Through stock manifolds and exhaust.

Unfortunately, Patriot Performance went out of business so you would have to find a used set of those now.

AFR, WCCH, PRC, etc. all make great products. It all depends on what you want out of your setup and how much you are willing to spend. If you can find a good deal on a set of 243/799s, jump on it and have them pnp'd. What else do you want to know?

I wasn't aware that Patriot went out of business. WCCH is really the bee's knees when it comes to heads though. Their customer service and flow numbers are astronomical. Richard is the man with any question you could possible have. If you don't go though a vendor like that, a set of worked 243/799 that have been milled .030 would be great. I would venture to say that WCCH could build you a head that outperforms anything else on the market hands down. AFR isn't bad by any means though. They make a great set of heads. I would go with WCCH or AFR.

So if I do go with a set of 243/799 do I want the heads with sodium filled valves or not! And if I get them milled down .030 down should I use a push rod checker or is it ok just buying new push rods ?

    Payment Cashing Policy

The Payment Cashing Policy outlines the procedures for handling payments and outstanding balances. It includes specific rules for managing overdue payments, ensuring that all transactions are processed efficiently. A key aspect of this policy is the 소액결제 미납 정책 (small payment overdue policy), which addresses the penalties and actions taken when small payments are not made on time. This policy helps maintain financial stability and ensures that all payments are collected promptly to avoid further complications for both parties involved.
